Harvey looks to be a major threat

with all those gas and oil processing plants in its path.

This looks to be another big one! I was in the US when Katrina hit and saw some of the devastation. They are suggesting that Harvey could be as big.

 

They have suggested some pumping stations in Louisiana are not working so they have problems from the start.

 

Harvey is expected to make landfall in Texas late tonight or early Saturday.Currently it's a category 2 but looks like being upgraded to a category 3 at any time.

Harvey has ben downgraded to a tropical storm. Now the clearing up begins.They are now getting very heavy rain with over 3' excepted to fall.

To a certain extent the flooding risk was already known.
