What I can `t understand, is

 

How do Daffodils know what the date is Huh    ( perhaps it has been "leeked" to them )  ! !

They don't know what the date is.  Admittedly I'm not in Wales but here the first daffodils were fully open on 30th January last year, but on 28th February this year.  Perhaps it is a case of blooming "up to" a month early.
