If you didn't win your first World Championship or an Olympic gold medal you will not be included, like many other more deserving people.

Re: Happy New Year

Too true Santiago - lots more deserving people out there I'm sure. Makes a mockery of the gongs IMO.
Anyway, I wish all of you well for the New Year and look forward to 2009 and lots of chat and laughs (we need it).

Re: Happy New Year

Good wishes to you all from Josie [and Holly] for the New Year!
I am looking forward to seeing what happens this next year - 2007 saw me retiring and moving across country, this year I acquired my little dog - so what happens next?

Re: Happy New Year

My very best wishes for a safe, happy and fruitful 2009 to everyone.
My concern for the new year is exchange rates particularly the Euro and Yen but we'll see what transpires.

May I echo the sentiments already expressed in this thread.
The Honours is of course another thread entirely.
