Hancock's Half Hour

Five lost Hancock's Half Hour have been remade:
Hancock's Half Hour
Hancock was IMO the very best of comedians. As funny today as when they were made.

Re: Hancock's Half Hour

My favourites were the Blood donor, Radio Ham and the Sunday afternoon at home.
Which episode was it that Hancock told Bill (Bill Kerr) that his OBE meant he was ordered Out of the British Empire?
I never thought they transferred to TV particularly well, with the exception of the Blood Donor.
Experience; is something you gain, just after you needed it most.

When faced with two choices, simply toss a coin. It works not because it settles the question for you. But because in that brief moment while the coin is in the air. You suddenly know what you are hoping for.

Re: Hancock's Half Hour

Neither did they transfer to the big screen well. He made two films. The Rebel was not bad but The Punch And Judy Man was poor.

Re: Hancock's Half Hour

I liked the The Punch And Judy Man but more for John Le Mesurier's part in it.
