Thanks for the reminder, not going to miss the boat!
And twenty hundred hours eh, my Mrs hates it when I do that, but then she also gets annoyed when I start saying Alpha, Bravo, Charlie....... over the phone!
Nice to have something half decent to watch especially on BBC although having said that, I'm going to give this a try later as well but if you are really desperate..... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S8rGcaJAj5k

When watching the "exercises" that are thrown at the crew... try to remember, that ,... they are mostly just out of training... many have not been to sea before,.. and most of the stuff they are doing is for the first time in their lives... yes.. there are some experienced crew amongst them...but it can be quite terrifying being thrust into some of these situations a the tender age of 17, 18, 19.... knowing that if you get it wrong in "real life" it could mean your death, or one of your crew mates....

Watching any of those programs about the RN makes always make me glad that despite when I was leaving school and stated I wanted to go to sea and the careers officers attempted to get me to sign on instead I trained as a Radio Officer and.went in the Merchant Navy and thoroughly enjoyed seeing the world, I don't think I could have handled the [-Censored-] in the RN.

I've not had chance to watch last weeks Part 1 yet!
Got it recorded though for when my viewing schedule allows (i.e. when SWMBO isn't hogging the main TV for soaps etc.!)

I did try working that one out but not being a naval man ex or otherwise.....
Seems daytime is easy enough but then it goes over to something called dog watch, so are bells rung when the crew are asleep?
