Gulliver's Kingdom

I was browsing the prices at this theme park and noticed this condition.

Please note that Gulliver's is a family theme park and adults unaccompanied by a child, and children under 16 unaccompanied by an adult, will be denied access.

Is this ageist?

Re: Gulliver's Kingdom

That would count out most Paparazzi Tongue
as being ageist
I think it may be an attempt to ward off any predators

Re: Gulliver's Kingdom

Having been there a few times anyone as an adult who goes on their own must be missing a screw or two Wink
It's great for kids and to watch them enjoying it - but not many thrill rides

Re: Gulliver's Kingdom

The one at Matlock is constructed on a hillside and full climbing gear is recommended to traverse the various levels. Shocked
Kelly might lend you some.

Re: Gulliver's Kingdom

We always meant to take the kids to the MK one (20 minutes away) but when my two got together with the stepson, sparks tended to fly (including hospital visits) so we gave it a miss.
Dvorak - if MK is fairly local to you, have you ever tried Wicksteed Park in Kettering ? Plenty of rides and stuff to do there too Smiley
