I saw it this morning and posted it on our Cairn Forum.  Just shows how clever Cairns are - he got on a bus to ensure he was warm and got some attentin!

Yes, I am so glad that he is now being looked after and hopefully he will be found a new home if his owner does not turn up.
Poor little thing - he must have been terribly cold.  Hedid exactly the right thing in getting on the bus - at least he got attention and was rescued from a certain death in those icy conditions.  
It is a shame that he is not microchipped as then his family could have been contacted immediately.  
*Update - he has been claimed and his family are delighted to have him home.  Hopefully they will now get him microchipped.

yes, but generally the rescue organisations insist on microchips before rehoming even with original owner!  which is a good thing in Hamish's case if he is a "escape artist"
