Greek analogue computer from roughly 100 years before the birth of Jesus

[quote= http://www.kitguru.net/channel/generaltech/jon-martindale/exosuit-being-trialled-to-search-for-worlds-first-computer/]Did you think computers were invented in the 20th century? Don’t make me laugh. 19th century? Come on. Try the 1st century BC, or there abouts, as that’s what the Antikythera mechanism is considered to be. It’s a (probably) Greek analogue computer from roughly 100 years before the birth of Jesus, found in the sunken remains of a Roman boat off the coast of the Greek island of Antikythera in the Aegean Sea. Previously divers have been down there for a few minutes at a time and even tried hoovering up the ship’s contents with a giant vacuum, but now, with the birth of this Iron Man like exosuit, we can expect divers to spend hours down there – potentially unearthing the secrets of this unexplained device.

Actually, it was thought to be an appearance of Halley's Comet.
Experience; is something you gain, just after you needed it most.

When faced with two choices, simply toss a coin. It works not because it settles the question for you. But because in that brief moment while the coin is in the air. You suddenly know what you are hoping for.

Re: Greek analogue computer from roughly 100 years before the birth of Jesus

I saw a documentary about early nav comp's on the history channel 5 years ago, they demonstrated one of the early Greek computers and some of the later more advanced ones, there was a solar system version that had mapped planetary alignment from 2000bc and was still able to depict present day alignments....
there was another that was recovered from a ship back in the 1950's that was dated to a couple of hundred years BC and was hailed as the first computer
