Got to pump it up!

We bought a Jilong blow up bed which we hoped we could use the foot pump we bought last year to blow it up. Unfortunately the pump nozzle is not compatible with the bed's valve (see pics).
We don't really want to spend another £14 or more quid to get yet another pump so wondered if there is some kind of adaptor available cheaply which can be used?
Presently SWMBO is attempting to blow it up by mouth Cheesy

Re: Got to pump it up!

I have one of these for blowing up airbeds, paddling pools etc.
It's much easier than the foot pump I used to use and the added advantage is connecting it in reverse to suck out all the air before packing the pool away (it never used to fit back in it's box before)
Not seen any adaptors for sale yet.

Re: Got to pump it up!

That looks very similar to the one I linked to at Tesco. The reviews also mention it sucks out air.

Re: Got to pump it up!

I just use my TriStar CXL vacuum cleaner's blower to inflate blow-up beds, open valve, place hose over valve, bed goes from empty to full in 3 seconds, close valve, snooze... Cool

Re: Got to pump it up!

Halfords has two pumps at £4 and £7 which come with a variety of adapters.
They also have a 12V pump that comes with a mains transformer at £15: http://www.halfords.com/car-seats-travel-equipment/camping-caravanning/sleeping-equipment/halfords-m.... I have an earlier version of this that came without the mains transformer.

Until you've tried it you will not realise just how useful that ability is!

Re: Got to pump it up!

Thanks for the links and advice. As I've got £15.00 of vouchers available at the moment I'll go for the Tesco one.
