Has the Google Street View camera captured you opening your curtains with your winkie out?

Probably, but there's so little entertainment around these parts I have to liven things up somehow.

Mine is still showing me sitting in my car from a few years ago.

It seems to be just the big cities - that London etc...
It shows last summers double glazing on mine.
Finally its caught up with the model of my car too.  Cheesy

The update seems somewhat random.
The area I live in was updated a few months ago with pictures taken in June last year.
However,  less than a mile away, the pictures are 4 years old.
Where I work,  the latest update has resulted in the business park being removed.

Re: Google has updated Street View – who’s looking at YOUR house?

I can pin mine down to a particular day in the week (Tuesday) because of the bins being out.
I can clearly see the registration on my car, which I thought they obscured....obviously an imperfect automated process.

My house first appeared in August 2008 and was updated in about June 2012 during loft extension constriction so shows a nice array of scaffolding.

It's surprising that Google don't date stamp their images.

It does show the image date in the bottom left corner, if you go to streetview via the maps website or Google Earth  (Windows, probably Mac to,  but not mobile),
On a related note I've recently noticed in Google Earth,  you can change which satellite image is shown,  and in some locations,  images taken in 1945.

Re: Google has updated Street View – who’s looking at YOUR house?

Mine says it is September 2012, it's a bin day so it must be a Friday.
The school kids are out, it's a sunny day so its about 3.30pm.
If I go up the road about 100 yds the image date is 2008.  Cheesy

Street view ? Not sure if they have done it yet but the images of Ireland were very blurred at one time. Perhaps it was a security thing ?

Re: Google has updated Street View – who’s looking at YOUR house?

The secret of my neighbour's culinary skill has been betrayed by Google Streetview. She's out side her house accepting a delivery from a cuisine dining service van.
Now Zen, but a +Net residue.
