Goodbye Chuck

Sorry and surprised to read about the death of Hilda Ogden (Jean Alexander) as I thought the good lady had left us years ago to be honest.

Remember those flying ducks where one was always crooked and her "Murial" on the wall? I do, I also remember her joining the cast of Corrie as well!

Rest well Hilda.

Re: Goodbye Chuck

Soaps used to be more fun.

Hilda and Stan provided many of the comic moments in old Corrie.

Re: Goodbye Chuck

The early years of corrie were the best, some good actors in it Violet Carson played a key role but most of the good actors have gone , same with the story lines, utter rubbish.

Stopped watching Corrie many years ago, around the time they started bumping people off and it was getting like Eastenders.

Not many of todays actors can really act, they cannot even speak clearly. !

We are born into history and history is born into us.
