Golden Oldie vs X Factor

Just grabbing the odd "golden oldie" from you tube, and came across this group...

and wonder how they would fare on the current X factor...
I am sure this can run and run.... post ONE video that you reckon could win the X factor from the lat 50`s, early 60`s to the 70`s.
Just for old time((r))s sake.... and revive some really good talent. Wink

Re: Golden Oldie vs X Factor

For the ULTIMATE backing group this takes some beating
Nice song too.

The original is the best

Even if you Tube seem to have pluralised it...!!

Re: Golden Oldie vs X Factor

I have watched all these videos. None of the artists shown would have any chance of winning crapfactor because they all have talent and would not appeal to 13 year old girls.
I don't think this guy would even get past the audition. I wonder if he will make a living in the music business?

and nearly forty years later, same guy, same song!

As you say Oddball, no chance...
But what about this unlikely character from 1958
