Re: Glastonbury 2019

Strange to say @Minivanman, Glastonbury from a distance is actually quite something to see. As you drive around the whole area you see various parts of it. But you need to be inside really. Up close and personal.

It certainly has evolved over the years. More a razor sharp run business now than how it originally started out as. And it certainly costs some to put on. Increasing legislation and, I suppose, increasing public expectation all add to the cost..

Ever helpful. Grin Sure, I’d love to help you out. Now which way did you come in?

Re: Glastonbury 2019

As always, there is very good coverage on the BBC channels, for those that don't attend.

And on iPlayer of course.

Bearing in mind the expected mud bath, how many Kugas will be required?  Smiley

Or are you using another mode of transport?  Roll_eyes

Re: Glastonbury 2019

I'm just wondering if the Glampers and/or Helicopter passengers are exempt from the plastic bottle ban which the regular festival goers are subject to.  That mode of transport seems to go against the 'green' image the organisers are claiming to project.  Roll_eyes

Not for me thanks!

I'm always fussy about places where the bog roll is left on the floor.

Everything that's wrong with Glastonbury these days.

I.e it's been appropriated by middle class knobs who think they're part of something whilst segregating themselves from the Riff Raff...

 Hmmmmm...

Glastonbury's poshest tent costing £25,000 for the weekend has hot tub, flushing toilets and spa treatments for 10.

The mind boggles. I wonder if the tent has a tradesmans entrance?
