Re: German Engineering

This foruj is so outdated.. considering PN is a broadband provider you'd think they'd allow us to embed youtube videos on this forum.

Not flaming likely - this forum crawls already just like the main Plusnet site - just imagine if Pierre was allowed to add videos to every post  Lips are sealed Sad

Re: German Engineering

Yes but the video doesn't come from the PN webserver, the code is embedded into the post so the browser displays it from the video site. I do see what you're saying though, PN can't even support their webhosting properly from reading through loads of the topics in there so no chance of them upgrading this old dino.

Mobile Broadband is the way forward and requires no 'service' from BT or its associated companies like PN. It's reliable (dependant on area and terrain) and faster than some wired Broadband connections as seen here:

Re: German Engineering

lol glad I brightened your day  Wink
Seriously though, while bandwidth will always be a bit of a problem using a dongle it's proven far more reliable for an on-demand connection than our wired BB. Never had a signal problem apart from in very hilly areas and I suspect blocks of flats might suffer (especially older basement flats).
