I reckon Plusnet gateway are going to be very busy and expecting to be very high bandwidth around 5pm tonight because of million of peoples in UK will downloading new Microsoft Windows 10 Technical Preview available from 5pm. The rush-hour downloading to begin here: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows/preview-coming-soon
Hope Plusnet gateway can cope!

Re: Gateway to be very busy 5pm tonight

You don't normally see a big increase for the technical previews as it's a limited audience that will download it. This isn't the full release, so many people won't download and a lot of people won't have even heard that Windows 10 is on it's way.

Same as me too. I went back to Windows 7. But, I think Windows 10 more likely the same as of Windows 8.1. I just going to test it out and see if I like it or not. What about the adhoc networks in Windows 10Huh which we can easily create in windows 7 as in windows 8 adhoc networks couldn’t be created and neither windows 8 detects adhoc networks. And I hope I am not forced to used a Microsoft account in windows 10.

Windows 10 does look interesting, I have to say.
I'm reserving judgment for now though.

Re: Gateway to be very busy 5pm tonight

Don't like Windows 10 at all. I think Windows 7 are one of the best operating system. I prefer start menu layout the same as Windows 7 and explorer layout the same as Windows 7 but I think Microsoft won't do it. Don't like start menu tiles in Windows 10.
