Game of Thrones?

Don't worry fans, this is not a series eight spoiler.

Gave it a miss in the early hours and will again t'night, as I'd rather wait until next week so I can enjoy a two hour binge. Just need to avoid anyone who has watched it.

Spoiler-free round-up though with BBC online news. Thumbs_Up

Re: Game of Thrones?

They have certainly spent some big money on this.

I am in no rush to watch it, agree it's good but my old brain does not find it easy to remember all the characters in each of the houses, not helped by the number who get the ' chop'

Re: Game of Thrones?

Ah yes, trying to follow who is who and what and where. Crazy2

The books had a sort of family tree in them and if you are (probably not) bothered, you can download one online.

As for the series itself I'm not a mad fan, but they are something enjoyable to watch amongst the rubbish, and the were my first experience of binge watching!. Arghhh!

Not done it since - err, apart from The House of Cards. Smiley

Re: Game of Thrones?

We haven't got round to watching of it yet.  Is it as good as the re-runs of Steptoe & Sons ?

"....not helped by the number who get the 'chop'"

You can always tell when Sean Bean (Ned Stark) is going to get the chop, it's when he's in the film!

First to go (unsurprisingly) if memory serves.

Re: Game of Thrones?

Well that's one download into the can, but can resist the temptation to watch until next week? Evil
