G4S use sticky label to frighten off villains

I expect quite a few people have seen this......
POLICE
FOLLOW
THIS VAN
Stuck on the back of G4s security vans.....
I have never seen any police following their vans...    Undecided  obviously, can`t be 100% sure, as they "might" just use plain cars, Wink
the same as the robbers do....  Cheesy

or have the robbers been frightened off by the sticky label?  Shocked Shocked Shocked
What sort of "world class security firm"  would think that a sticky label would have such a profound effect on villains as to put them off robbing their vans....?
Well, Obviously..... G4S...  Grin Grin Grin

Re: G4S use sticky label to frighten off villains

I've often wondered about what that sticker really means as it could have several meanings:
1) Police (if you see it) follow this van
2) Police (sometimes) follow this van
3) Police (always) follow this van
4) Police follow this van (by tracker)
5) Police follow this van (purely by accident when they're on the same road as the van)
I've never been able to decide if its any of those or something else  Crazy G4S don't really make it clear do they - no wonder they screwed up the olympics  Wink

Me too.... all of the above... and.....
did they think it would give their "customers" more confidence in the security  Roll eyes provided by them...  Cheesy  . knowing they had the back up of a "proper" security service !

Re: G4S use sticky label to frighten off villains

How strange as I had the very same thought when I saw a G4 van when out with my daughter today.,
I suggested it was a spelling mistake....

Perhaps someone here should write a letter to them to clarify on behalf of the PN community?
