Fuel prices

For a few weeks now, it doesn't matter which garage you use or pass, in this locality at least, they all seem to be displaying the same price for unleaded: 100.9. whatever happened to the competition between garages and suppliers. Even the garage at the bottom of my road which is usually the most expensive for miles around is showing the same price.
Don't tell me arch rivals have settled their differences!!
Shushhh! but maybe we shouldn't mention that, although still highish, the price of oil has been steadily falling for a while now.
Experience; is something you gain, just after you needed it most.

When faced with two choices, simply toss a coin. It works not because it settles the question for you. But because in that brief moment while the coin is in the air. You suddenly know what you are hoping for.

Re: Fuel prices

Up here around Dundee, Perth etc it's interesting to see that the price of diesel and petrol are now the same, and generally around the pound mark, so often £0.99 per litre

Er, you couldn't do a price forecast for the next three weeks in the New Forest (Brockenhurst) and south Devon (Seaton) area's I suppose?

Re: Fuel prices

Well, well, well checked out the above link, and guess what the two areas I'm going to have, 101.9 as the lowest price.
This seems to be a somewhat universal price...

Re: Fuel prices

Well it WAS 100.9 last week but when I passed yesterday it was up to 104.9  Lips are sealed here, I thought I head on the radio that oil prices had DROPPED a few weeks ago and so prices were supposed to be coming DOWN!
Another of the prices I pay for living in the country, market 2 exchange (NEVER going to make a M3), higher fuel prices, and POOR public transport. Nearest train station is 35 miles East or North

Re: Fuel prices

The good guys on price appear to be ASDA.  If they reduce their price then Tesco et al will follow.  Tesco will not reduce their price if there isn't an ASDA locally or if the ASDA doesn't sell fuel.
