Re: Fuel duty petition

Thanks for the link.  Just signed and there are 118,000 signatures already on there.
At first I couldn't get on to the site. Got a message saying it was busy and to try again. That's good to know so many people are signing.
The daily Express is also arranging a similar petition.

Re: Fuel duty petition

Makes you wonder though, Most airlines are putting a surcharge on flight because of the high fuel prices, but they buy most of their fuel outside the UK. Undecided

Re: Fuel duty petition

I guess the airlines will say that fuel has gone up all over the world to some degree.
The last of the 'business only' class airlines, Silverjet, went out of business today.

Re: Fuel duty petition

Also in addition to the price of fuel I think one of their problems was flying from Luton.  Hardly a good choice of airport for a business flight.

Experience; is something you gain, just after you needed it most.

When faced with two choices, simply toss a coin. It works not because it settles the question for you. But because in that brief moment while the coin is in the air. You suddenly know what you are hoping for.

Re: Fuel duty petition

I'd like to give my support but I don't like part of the wording ..... "acceptable level"
Now if it said "scrap fuel duty", I'd be first in the queue with my pencil  Grin
Regards .....
