Fuel Prices

I filled up my car yesterday at 127.9p per litre and noticed on my spreadsheet the downward trend.
I look forward to the trend continuing to sub £1 per litre.

It would be nice to think that we both might live that long. Smiley

Re: Fuel Prices

I paid £1.259 this week at Tesco. It's been that price for a few weeks now. In addition Tesco is running a money off promotion at present and I have a further 3p per litre to come off my next purchase Smiley

Re: Fuel Prices

I have that money off offer and when I filled up the guy asked me if I would like the money off or carry it over.
I said I would take it now.
The then pressed a button and turned to the girl on the next till and said he had pressed 'No' instead of 'Yes' and could he change it.
The girl said once selected it couldn't be changed.
So now I have to fill up again before the 30th of April so I don't lose it.

Re: Fuel Prices

I wanted to build my discount up before using it. I think the maximum is 20p a litre off. Unfortunately I will have to use the 3p as I go away on Monday.

Yes but anything you earn in March has to be used by the end of April.

Re: Fuel Prices

Up to 16p here - still have half a tank of fuel left from filling up last month. I usually use a tank every month or so while the wife uses a couple of tanks a week lol.

Re: Fuel Prices

Two weeks ago, missus shopped in Morrisons... I got a voucher for 10p off per litre...( save £3 on a fillup )...
same again this week... so will be waiting for an (almost) empty tank, by the end of next week, before filling again !...

Re: Fuel Prices

I have an allstar fuel card which gives me 10% of the pump price if I use BP forecourts.
And as Sainsburys use BP for their forecourts, I can cheekily use the vouchers when I top up.
Mind you I use 1800 - 2000 litres per month.  Sad
