From Homeless to Superstar

A short while ago Ted Williams was surviving by begging on the streets in the US.  He was then discovered and is now a celebrity because of his extraordinary voice.
Ted Williams
Good luck to him.

He's certainly got a great voice.
Some of the more mature members may recall the Cadbury advert " I like a man who likes me enough to buy me Cadbury's Milk Tray" from the mid 60s. When we were first married the " voice" was our next door neighbour - nice lady but not well endowed looks wise  Cry

Re: From Homeless to Superstar

A couple of times in the video I thought he reminded me of Obama.

Hope he does well, nothing else worse than people constantly winging but not prepared to make a go of it when they get the chance.

Re: From Homeless to Superstar

Must be said he's certainly had a spot of luck there although from what the article explains he had already had the tuition years ago before getting himself into the pit that most of us can never escape.
Still.. to be homeless and still get a hand out is amazing. I once heard a rumour that David Boreanz (from Buffy) had been found homeless in a car park by a producer and started his career that way. No idea if its true..
I need a new signature... i'm bored of the old one!

Winging Undecided But it has to be said it is a great example to a lot of people who do nothing about their circumstances apart from whinging.  A positive attitude goes a long way Smiley
