Fox News pundit Steve Emerson totally gets it wrong...

AN AMERICAN terrorism pundit has apologised after claiming Birmingham is a "totally Muslim" city where non-Muslims "simply don't go."
Emerson, who describes himself as one of the leading authorities on Islamic extremist networks and who regularly briefs the US government and Congress, made the staggering comment as millions marched in Paris against the Islamist attacks last week that claimed 17 lives.
On Monday, David Cameron branded Emerson “a complete idiot” and said the comments had made him choke on his porridge.
Emerson issued an apology to the “beautiful city of Birmingham”.

The US government is a totally ridiculous entity anyway, pretty much everything discussed by them politically is usually based on made-up truths... Roll eyes

Re: Fox News pundit Steve Emerson totally gets it wrong...

I regularly record ABC News on the BBC News Channel ovenight.
Just before ABC News appeared, Clive Myrie, the  BBC News Presenter did an excellent Jeremy Paxman style interview with Steve Emerson.
Emerson just waffled and wouldn't identify his sources, just that he had read it somewhere.
At least he apologised for his poorly researched postings.
But having seen him being interviewed, I wouldn't trust him, or his opinions at all.
And after all, it was on the Fox Network, which has a very bad reputation, for publishing incorrect information, which it rarely apologises for.

Emerson will claim next week that WMDs are stored under Spaghetti Junction.
Now Zen, but a +Net residue.

Its almost as bad as the Sky reporter who was at the scene of the coppers death.  reporters words....."you can see the blood on the ground which has been put there to ....... because of the blood that was shed on this spot yesterday".

"sky - believe in better", as in, there's far better news sources that are more believable than theirs...  Grin
