Re: Forum Moderators

I was made a moderator on a large forum I regularly use - without my knowledge.
I logged on one day to find it asking me to change my password (which I did) then found a plethora of extra buttons to play with. It had been discussed for some time between the other moderators and admins who all decided they wanted me to help out ........

Re: Forum Moderators

Yes I'm a moderator on another forum (and not by my choice) - I've been a member of that forum for 12 years so have settled in pretty well anyway  Grin
I also ran my own forums for a bit before I closed them down due to a massive increase in spambots - I was spending more time cleaning up than earning money in the end !

Re: Forum Moderators

I agree, The moderators do a fantastic job in keeping the community spirit alive and well.
They apply the rules (most of the time) with common sense and integrity. But, if there is one rule that I'm grateful that they adhere to it's the 'Use of Quotes'. Makes this board one of the best in folllowing individual threads.
