For the railway buffs: London to Brighton in 4 minutes

The BBC did a video in 1953, 1983 and 2013 of the train ride to Brighton. They've put all 3 side by side and made a cool video!

Yes.. they showed it on the BBC news so there clearly is a high def version but the BBC news website doesn't seem to offer anything like it unless you go full screen.
They also don't seem to offer a download either  Cry
I need a new signature... i'm bored of the old one!

The 1953 version it used to be on as an "interlude". On one memorable occasion an announcement was made "There is nothing newsworthy today, so the NEWS has been cancelled, we're going to Brighton instead"
Which is ironic as 60 years on it has become a news item in it's own right Undecided
