A friend of mine has just purchased a new "starter" telescope by Celestron. It comes with a software called "First Light" by bisque software. This software is without doubt the best I have ever seen on this subject for those new to astronomy, if you are interested in this subject as an amateur try and see it. Bisque, at this time has some maintenance going on with its website, I don't know if "First Light" is available other than as bundled with a new telescope, they do have several others in their range though.
Experience; is something you gain, just after you needed it most.
When faced with two choices, simply toss a coin. It works not because it settles the question for you. But because in that brief moment while the coin is in the air. You suddenly know what you are hoping for.
