Finally, a useful App

McDonalds of all people have produced an App which is actually useful to the general public.  Any other useful apps to report?

Many TV food ads feature the pilfering of food from someone's plate. I think that they ought to be charged with inciting crime in order to discourage this crime wave.

Re: Finally, a useful App

Hmmm that's a tricky one.
I have no interest in having a smart phone,  and I'd rather go without than eat McDonalds chips.

I've just invented a casing which disguises a phone as a pile of  chips.

The plate probably has more nutritional value and a better taste.

Yes, on average, 'normal' Shocked people eat Macdonalds a couple of times a week. (Sad innit)  Cry

The last time I ate at McDullards was the 20th November 2011 (I remember that cos it was two days before moving from Lancashire to Co. Durham, food & cooking implements all packed up), and it was foul, got a free coca cola glass though... Grin

First & Last time I EVER had a Micky D's was in Taiwan, 1989. We sent out a colleague to get some "food", he came back with a Micky D. YUCK!

Stuck on a desert island with nothing but McDonald's to eat I know what I'd do.
Survival is a very strong instinct.
They wouldn't be in business if their food was as bad as some make out.
I don't think they qualify as restaurants though.

Re: Finally, a useful App

I used to work with a couple of guys who would live on the stuff if they could. Sad sad sad. There is plenty of GOOD food out there, without having to go the "cheap" route.
I remember watching a documentary where people couldn't afford real food & veg, but could get a burger & fries for 89c. Malnutrition was rife. And of course the Micky D diet, where he put ON several stone after eating it for a month. Along with other medical problems.
Just the smell of their burgers makes me want to heave. And have their fries ever been near a potato?

Re: Finally, a useful App

There was an article somewhere talking about how particular McDonald's are about the potato they use for their chips and the side effects of producing that potato.
