Final episode of Top Gear

Did anyone else find it rather sad and gloomy in the studio scenes?
I got to the end and must admit I had a tear in my eye at the end of the show. Then silent credits.. with the bbc talking all over them...
End of an era. Absolutely gutted.
I need a new signature... i'm bored of the old one!

Re: Final episode of Top Gear

Yep, I watched it, the way it was hastily put together made it feel like we were watching the last moments of someone's life during a funeral service, and the ending was indeed a tearjerker when they said goodbye and rolled the silent credits, TG in that guise will be missed for sure... Sad
Oh well, onwards to the Clarkson, Hammond & May revival on whatever channel/platform they sign up to... Smiley

In an unrelated announcement, the BBC announces 1000 job cuts which will yield savings of £50 Million.
Now Zen, but a +Net residue.

An unexpected increase in the number of households saying they do not watch live TV so do not pay for a licence has been blamed for the shortfall.

Wonder if its something to do with the now former Top Gear fans stating they were cancelling their license... Grin
