Re: Filling stations can be difficult

She was probably a little flustered from having previously trying to park in a multi-storey car park.

Re: Filling stations can be difficult

She could have saved herself a bit of time by doing handbrake turns at each end of the island.

Re: Filling stations can be difficult

So for the rest of Europe is the filler on the wrong side on Japanese cars?

Re: Filling stations can be difficult

It would appear that she didn't think of looking at the direction of the arrow head next to her fuel gauge, as this would have told her what side the filler was on!

Re: Filling stations can be difficult

What's more worrying that none of the posters here pointed out that the hose are longer enough to reach the other side. The number of times that I go to a petrol station and see queues one side of the pump and not the other.

Re: Filling stations can be difficult

So how do you put air in the tyres and a petrol station? Do you turn the car around?

Re: Filling stations can be difficult

Air hoses are usually long enough to go round the car on the floor. Fuel hoses where I've filled up have not been.
I have seen people struggling to hold the hose off the bodywork and failing.
