Re: Fantastic Days out in the UK !!

Now thats more like it!
The UK having something cool... yet we here of it so little in this celebrity chef crazy country of ours.
Space exploration of the local Tescos for ingredients that some bloke of the telly said you should throw together? I know which I find more interesting.
Now at the same time I'd like to naturally recomment the railways! In the wind and the rain the carriages have a roof and walls with windows for you to look at as you go along. Many of them are also incredibly old and very interesting! They come in a variety of types from steam, diesel, electric to electric air-con - something for everyone!
I need a new signature... i'm bored of the old one!

There are 2 laces in England I've never been to but want to go, namely Lego Land in Windsor, and the Cadbury place in Bourneville.

Indeed,, I realize that at 37 I'm probably too old for Legoland, but I still want to go.

Re: Fantastic Days out in the UK !!

We went to Longleat a few weeks ago, must admit I was not to keen to go for several reasons including the price but have to admit it was a good day out and there was plenty of things for children to do.
Plenty of picnic tables about so take a packed lunch and pick a nice day but be warned for a family of 2 adults and 2 children you are looking at  the £100 mark to get in.

I Would imagine that if you took most children to some of the venues on this list they would be bored out of their minds, I know I would be?
