Re: Fancy a night out in China ?

$5.2 million, the cost of relocating and fitting it out? Even at around $50 a meal that's going to take quite some time to recover the investment.

Let me see, five million divided by 50 is erm, what, one hundred thousand plates of grub, and that just to break even on the initial outlay.

I'd prefer a trip to shenzen - the tech capital of the world.

I need a new signature... i'm bored of the old one!

Can't wait for the narrowboat in the sky restaurant, being held up by a cacophony of helium balloons... Funny

Not sure what Shenzen is like but a number of chinese cities have high levels of air pollution and a number of citizens wear masks....... so are you sure you want to go ?

Re: Fancy a night out in China ?

It's one of those things isn't it glen. I was a kid in the 80s when cars were running leaded petrol and you could taste the fumes in the air as they passed by.

I won't ever get the chance to go anyway... but in an ideal (and unpolluted) world I would.
