Samsung Blues

Has anybody got one ?

(With apologies to Neil Diamond)

It now appears that it may be the phone circuitry at fault, not the actual batteries, possibly causing a short circuit.

What worries me, is that despite all the warnings, some idiot on a plane will use one, causing it to crash !!!

We have a few International Flights coming up, should every passenger be searched ?

Re: Exploding Samsung Note 7's recalled!

I thought is was the battery causing the issue, some sort of leak between the anode and cathode, so presumably even the advice to turn them off and do not use will not prevent them igniting?

Samsung Blues eh?  Very good  Cool

"Should every body be searched"

Yes, Why not...  ?   These are terrorist weapons, in disguise....  they are so random, that they are unpredictable... just like terrorists.

Next thing they'll ban on flights are harpoon guns or portable drills ... Health and Safety gone mad.

Now Zen, but a +Net residue.

Is this the same one that is being advertised - where the guy accidentally drops it into a sink of water? If so, problem sorted Wink

Nah, that's the Galaxy S7 that lands in the sink, the Note 7 is a bigger "phablet" model... Smiley

But yeah, dropping it into the sink would be useful if an N7 caught fire... Funny

Why, what would happen?

If anything it cannot be worse than setting your house alight!
