Yup, some guy near the top end says politicians take more note of the rich and ignore the poor. Whoever thought that would ever happen?
The rich always think they're right, the poor are always wrong... there's a few on this forum like that Wink
Anyway, what is your opinion?

A lot of people can say what they feel once they become an ex employee. Doesn't make it any less credible.

Re: Even those in politics say its broken now!

when he said the same thing 3 yrs ago he sounded like an angry ex employee now that he's made the same statements again it makes him sound like a bitter one, and that makes he point rather less credible!

Interesting article. The most profound statement there is ‘Regardless of who’s in office, the same people are in power'.
We all laughed at Yes minister on the tv, but how true it is apparently.

we all know he is right and I am surprised the daily fail published this.
e.g. when labour lost in 2010 the same advisors advised cameron.

Yeah the Establishment,  someone told me yesterday that it doesn't matter who votes for who for what the politicians are merely a face. It's the Establishment that needs to be brought down.

except the socialist idea of changing the establishment invariably means the same thing as communism and removal of incentives or dreams to better ones self and thus must be rallied against by everyone who likes living.
given the standard of state education in the last 20 years I would be appalled at the idea that any of them were getting into positions of leadership in numbers large enough to hold sway over what happens!

Why must it be to better ones self? - The daily mail ran an article the other day about a chinese business man who took every single employee of his on holiday (6500 of them i think). Would any firm here look out for its staff in that way? No. They'll look after important managers and completely forget about the minions at the bottom who do the real work - who are actually just as important as the managers who make the decisions.
Why is it always about looking out for number one? - Why can a company not look out for everyone that works for it? - some offer a few mild perks but nothing significant. We could learn a lot from the chinese.

Standard of education that was brought about directly by those at the top who have decided to sacrifice the young as much as they can - and you want more of that instead of the real people gaining control of their country?

Re: Even those in politics say its broken now!

The education system was rewritten by the people who teach within it to make it easier for themselves, the Muppets they share ideology with at the top gave us political correctness and decreed that no was banned from the classroom and it hurts peoples feelings.
My employer sent me on holiday 3 times before the lunatics took power (after which time there were no more holidays and fun was banned...)
I'm under zero illusons about just how bad life would be under the idealistic fashion you outline.

FYI the Daily Mail is simply reprinting a very brief excerpt that appeared in the Sunday Times yesterday. The ST is serialising Steve Hilton's recent book.

And there are a few of life's failures on here that are always moaning about their lot.
