Draws are held every Friday night, and take place in Paris. A standard EuroMillions ticket costs €2.00, £2.00 or CHF3.20 per line played, or €3.00 if one plays with the "Plus" option (available in the Republic of Ireland and Portugal). The cost in the UK increased to £2.00 per line on 7 November 2009 as the ticket now includes the Millionaire Raffle Game where every week one UK player will win £1 million. This is the standard price in all the countries mentioned above. Prizes, aside from the jackpot, are sized according to participation per country.
All prizes, including the jackpot, are tax exempt, except in Switzerland, and are paid in lump sum.

Re: Euro Millions

But £2 includes raffle game.
Albeit I do the UK Lotto by DD  I've never bothered with EuroMillions - even less chance of winning.

Re: Euro Millions

But it never used to include the "raffle" game..... someone must have complained and this is their way of keeping the extra money.... Undecided

Re: Euro Millions

15 million euros is equiv to £13m 2,956.00 at 10 am exchange rate this morning....  but £15million  is equiv to 16million 8,992 euros.... so if the pay out in sterling (GBP) then looks like we get "pro-rata" more euros, as it costs us more to play !..

Re: Euro Millions

Are you asking purely out of interest or waiting for the cheque to arrive Grin

If waiting for cheque, I'd just like to reaffirm our "best friend" status.
Experience; is something you gain, just after you needed it most.

When faced with two choices, simply toss a coin. It works not because it settles the question for you. But because in that brief moment while the coin is in the air. You suddenly know what you are hoping for.
