Re: Euro 2012 Football

Best game so far was Ukraine v Sweden last night - well the second half of the game!

Re: Euro 2012 Football

I think England played pretty poorly in the first half yesterday and some of the second, the passing was atrocious!  France were passing to France and so was England.  Money wise, 22 players on the pitch so about £2-3m a weeks worth of wages just with them 22 people, makes you think about bankers bonuses when you consider how much a man gets paid for kicking a round object generally to the wrong place and mostly to the wrong player.
Personally I'm more a rugby man, loved watching the world cup and supporting Japan (who didn't win a match) and Wales (who had a 1/2 French ref for their match against France) though speaking of refs, that ref for the England match yesterday was as bad as Englands passing, even I could see they were getting fouled but he just didn't care.

Re: Euro 2012 Football

After England's poor effort and trying to win the game against France, I think Emmerdale would have been preferable.

Re: Euro 2012 Football

Is there a new crop of England players we could harvest from?
Experience; is something you gain, just after you needed it most.

When faced with two choices, simply toss a coin. It works not because it settles the question for you. But because in that brief moment while the coin is in the air. You suddenly know what you are hoping for.
