Essential course for Plusnet users

Just spotted that the National Trust in Bath are running a course which would be really useful to Plusnet users, especially those suffering from the latency/packet loss issues at present.

Details are here: https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/events/76176a03-cb37-40a0-9f62-8fe21b5d204a/pages/details

Re: Essential course for Plusnet users

Now there's an idea! Wouldn't it be great if we could raise queries online instead of hanging on for an agent on chat or phone.

Re: Essential course for Plusnet users

Oh wait indeed, and it's going to be a long one as the present system operates as an exercise in containment and I would suggest, a recognised management tool. On the other hand, if BT were to get their act together, maybe just maybe, plusnet and other third party providers would not be getting so much grief from their customers?

I wonder what price Plusnet put on their present customer support?

Re: Essential course for Plusnet users

The PN users should be taught to give 10 days advance notice of any calls to the PN Help Desk. This will give PN the opportunity to schedule appropriate resource. Meanwhile the customer should take a block of wood and a sharp carving knife....

Now Zen, but a +Net residue.

Re: Essential course for Plusnet users

If the forums are to be used for technical support, maybe the people who are presently providing said tech support on the forum should get a discount off their broadband account as a "Thank you for doing the job you're paying us to do but aren't doing" gesture... Grin

Or is that too much to ask? Funny

Re: Essential course for Plusnet users

We would have to follow a script if we wanted to offer support.
