now Denzil - you are being naughty..................................

Everyone who wants to take part in E-Day is being asked to leave off  electrical items, which do not need to be on, and to leave these items off for as long as possible

Re: Energy savings Day 27-28th Feb

Pierre, Yep! I can run it on12volt, by plugging in the cigar lighter in the car..... wish I could do the same with the laptop..... strange how they run on silly voltages.... if they made them run on 12volts DC then the laptop would be really useful.... Huh

Re: Energy savings Day 27-28th Feb

the website I mentioned says;
"During this experiment everyone in the country will be invited to see if they can save energy in their home, school or office, by leaving off electrical items which are not in use, and then offered direct feedback on the results of their actions on national electricity demand via the E-Day website (www.e-day.org.uk).
The cumulative effects of millions of energy saving measures will be updated on the E-Day website on a minute-by-minute basis
. "
so the E Day website may well be running on batteries............................ Huh Cheesy Huh Roll eyes
