Email Alerting Service

I suppose this should go in the Email section of the board, but thought it would also be good to put on here to gain wider (?) notice....
My wife has received the following and asked me what she should do, as I have told her not to click on anything she is not sure of, but to ask me first......

Re: Email Alerting Service

a) That is a genuine notification for a virus infected email.
b) I'm sure your wife will be happy that you've posted her email address on a public forum!
c) That's a well known virus - just delete the notification email and forget it. Plusnet will delete it from the quarantine store in a couple of weeks.

Re: Email Alerting Service

@shutter, I've received a few of these notifications from PN.  Now I just delete them.  When I got the first one or two I asked PN to tell me what they contained.  They said they originated in Italy and contained a virus. They were all referring to a UPS undelivered packet.  At the time I received the first one I was waiting for a delivery so could have been tempted to have it sent  to me. Shocked
