Meanwhile BT is also set to launch mobile phones for business customers next week as it reenters the market after a decade’s absence.
The former telecoms monopoly has been working for more than a year developing its service, which will be unveiled next Thursday.
The announcement will herald a re-entry into the sphere it quit in 2001 when it sold off the Cellnet division, which is now called O2.
