Election leaflets.

Do you read Election leaflets or like me stick them straight in the recycling?

Re: Election leaflets.

Read them, together with the manifestos of parties with candidates in my constituency. I consider it to be my civic duty to vote in an informed way. I would go so far as to say I think there should be a legal requirement to vote.

Re: Election leaflets.

I only read one half of mine as the other half is in Welsh Wink

This Conservative candidate has himself pictured "At home in Rhydargaeau I enjoy chopping wood to keep fit".

Yeh right, I believe you but thousands won't. Desperate or what?

Re: Election leaflets.

Just had three delivered with my "normal" post, by the postman.... so they have gone straight to the top of the pile of junk mail, that I save up every year, and post that pile back, en masse, in the big red post box outside of Morrisons, when we go for our last shop before Christmas....

I have a notice on my door, that I do not want any more junk mail,... if the postman can`t read, then he should not be doing the job...   and yes... there are instructions to use the big black bin by the telegraph pole, if the insist on delivery. so he does not lose out on the delivery fee...

Re: Election leaflets.

I stopped reading comics before I got to 18 - so no, I don't read them. In fact, I think I upset one leafletter - I picked it off the floor and binned it just as he was walking back past my front door.

Re: Election leaflets.

Must be very disheartening for the postie having to deliver this sort of garbage.

Time was when only important stuff was put through the door but now it's everything from special offer pizzas to saving Romanian donkeys.

Unsolicited mail? It must be Monday.

Re: Election leaflets.

I read them, and have noticed that Corbyn is mentioned many more times in both the conservative and labour leaflets than May.

Only thing worse than being talked about in politics - is not being talked about.

Suspect but not proven the bin men possibly delivered one to us, it arrived as the bins were being emptied before the post.

Re: Election leaflets.

I'm interested in reading what the candidate is proposing to do if elected. I have a quick look, if they have negative comments about their opponent I stop reading and bin them.

Now Zen, but a +Net residue.

Re: Election leaflets.

Do you actually expect to read a party election leaflet where they are positive about another party, it's about the votes so I doubt you'd ever see one.
