Election 2015... Healthcare or Wealthcare

Election 2015... Healthcare or Wealthcare ?

Labour: Healthcare ?
Tories:  Wealthcare ?

Is it really as clear cut as this ?

Do we care ?

Re: Election 2015... Healthcare or Wealthcare

While the bright young Labour politicians have short memories I'm afraid I don't. The leaders' mismanagement of the banking sector caused structural finance problems which will last for decades seeing our grand children paying for the consequences. Most British people do not realise just how close we came to lock down of the ATMs when we tried to withdraw our own money from the banks. The underlying factor was lack of government control of dodgy banking practices.
Add to this the illegal Blair wars which have cost us dear  in both financial and security safety. Factor in the last Labour governments implicit acceptance of uncontrolled immigration intended to manipulate the election voting patterns.
Compared to the above the NHS is a sideshow.
It would be disastrous to let the Labour career politicians, who've never actually had a proper job, have the reins of power again.
Now Zen, but a +Net residue.

The road to hell is paved with good intentions could apply to many old governments.
What worries me is the good intentions part seems missing from most 21st century politicians.

Re: Election 2015... Healthcare or Wealthcare

the tories are still protecting the nhs though there doing it in a different way that's most likely more sustainable in the long term, they slowed down the privatisation of the NHS and reversed some of the hospital privatisations that were due to be undertaken due to contracts signed by the blair administration......
thatcher didn't start any wars she responded to others who invaded British sovereign territory (the Iraqis invaded British embassies and took hostage all the staff and families held in various of sadams palaces as human shields...) and the Falkland's is a British overseas dependant territory that was invaded and needed cleaning of those invaders .....
despite her many faults warmongering wasn't one of them, she also was against privatisation of the national interest's but her hands had been tied for her by the labour government that signed a common market treaty that required it, although she did refuse to sell off the rail system......
actually if you look back through history its been largely trying to sort out the mess a labour government created that has made the Tories seem like the nasty party full of self interested posh knobs when in reality they have been doing the exact opposite of looking after themselves before the country (unlike the so called party of the common man) the fact it also happens to benefit themselves is an indication that when the rich are happy everyone is better off !

the greens are still nothing more than a protest vote, there policies are all hold hands and hug trees so long as its not where we want new houses built ..... so confused they cant even be coherent about what their polices are......cant wait to read labour's election manifesto (heres hoping they actually produce one before the vote) so far this election campaign seems to all about changing your mind on what your policy is and lying about how you plan to get it done.....
