EE Price increase

Just received an email from EE about a price increase for some services outside of my call plan from the end of September. Thankfully I never go outside of the plan but, even so, these increases are very steep;

@Mav

Hi Mav,

I'm new to Plusnet and wondered why you posted about EE's price increase? Will it be something that increases prices for Plusnet customers also?

@Jessimon

This is the General Chat forum so practically any subject is up for discussion and this thread has no bearing on Plusnet pricing at all.

I'm on EE with unlimited calls and texts.

Re: EE Price increase

Ah okay, are the prices now inline with BT's own telecoms charges? Getting close?

I have 1000 minutes and unlimited texts. Have never gone anywhere near my limit.

@Jessimon I have no idea what BT prices are but I was shocked that some EE price increases are at 60%!

Re: EE Price increase

It's quite the increase, another view point is that it's the first major increase in 2 years.

If the increases were more frequent but not as large would that be as shocking or do you think that either way it's too big an increase in regards to the 2 years.

I must have been really bad in a previous life. This is my 3rd ISP in a row that uses lithium.

Re: EE Price increase

Round here I've gotten 95.52Mbps Down, 31.61Mbps up (on Three), if it wasn't for the ping times over mobile networks, I'd have ditched the slowlane (aka the landline) in favour of 4G... Smiley
