Drunken Birds.....feathered variety.

The wild birds are getting tipsy on my fruit again this year.
They are eating my apples and raspberries and then flying into the glass of my windows.....it's like a scene from The Birds here.
They are sitting on my garden path and when I walk down they just stare at me stupidly.....the cats will have them if they don't sober up.

Re: Drunken Birds.....feathered variety.

Can't you put some netting over the plants so birds are not able to get at the fruit?

I could Josie but fear the repercussions of depriving a whole community of alcohol. Some of these birds are quite large Wink

Re: Drunken Birds.....feathered variety.

Visit local agricultural equipment rental company and rent a gas cannon (crow scarer).  I'm sure your neighbours will be very understanding.

The audible bang can reach volumes in excess of 150 decibels near the gun.

I wouldn't be able to hear them if they complained Grin
