given that a certain high end manufacturer has already gone down the route of only supplying cars to people that are bio tagged and allow the "id tag" to be inserted into them I'm sure it wont be more than a decade before such things become common place, in much the same way as keyless cars are already commonplace ....
and lets be honest a DNA sample stashed with the insurance company would certainly speed up payouts should you pile in and inferno (because they can DNA test any remains) it would only be a practical step particularly given how often car crash /inferno fake deaths have become in recent years....
just because your paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you
