Don't you just hate it when...

... the 'email' contact to a company is via an online form and there is no indication that the form has actually been sent and no acknowledgement it having been received.
I did just that, clicked on Send and was returned back to the online form again. So, do I wait a few days to see if I get a reply or try sending again Undecided

Yes it is annoying but most times there is a message to say the email has been sent and a reply can be expected in a certain time.
The other method of informing a customer is to send an acknowledgement email containing a reference number so that it can be chased up.

I have never had that as I typically, right click & extract the email address, to which I then introduce it onto my email client, then (mostly they get added to the address book)
That way if the Mail Daemon, throws it back, then I know it wasn't worth bothering with  Wink
