Don't believe all you read

My broadband has been choppy for a few days, so I have been doing speed tests at random times. Here is a result which ,somehow, i don't have a lot of faith in.
Can you see why, or am I merely being paranoid? Huh

Re: Don't believe all you read

Well PN do say thet are having problems with their speedchecker - and they've been saying that for months.

Please Note: We are currently experiencing issues with our speed tester and results may not be 100% accurate.

I use the BT tester which I've always found to be fine.

Re: Don't believe all you read

I think the reason PN say MBB speedchecker is not working properly, is because it can`t cope with traffic on the Fibre network.....  and until they get a decent "upgrade" from someone, it is best to say it is unreliable....
a bit like local council highways department putting up a "slippery road" sign to save the expense of having to re-surface the road to the proper standard.... putting up the sign is an insurance get out... like... "You have been warned".... so it is not our fault if you slide off the road into an oncoming HGV or Tank carrier....  Shocked
