Re: Does Size Really Matter

Specifically when you consider ‘our universe’ (that which was generated by ‘our’ big bang), maybe one of many hundreds of universes generated by many ‘big bangs’ at different times.

Re: Does Size Really Matter

Or an infinite number of universes.
Would they each occupy their own area of space existing at the same time or would they be parallel universes occupying the same space as each other on different time levels.
Or, as one theorist put it 'none of them exist including our own unless it is being viewed by someone' Shocked

Re: Does Size Really Matter

As an agnostic, non-religious person just hypothesising. Wouldn't it be "interesting" if there really was a civilisation of super-beings, and we were only living in their equivalent of blowing expanding soap bubbles, the billions of billions years we consider the age of the universe as we know it is in reality nothing but a few seconds of time in the world in which they live. Maybe the bubble is getting close to bursting point.
We simply don't know. .What we do know is that the age of the Earth is nothing but an almost invisible minuscule pin-prick in the time scale of our universe  I hope this hypothetical civilisation treats its neighbours better than we do.
Experience; is something you gain, just after you needed it most.

When faced with two choices, simply toss a coin. It works not because it settles the question for you. But because in that brief moment while the coin is in the air. You suddenly know what you are hoping for.
