Figures from TravelSupermarket show passengers travelling on the West Coast could save 89% by acting quickly, with a single ticket departing from London Euston for Liverpool Lime Street in the morning of Friday 22 December costing an astonishing £142.00 less booked now rather than on the day – at £17 rather than the £159 an Anytime single costs.

Those travelling from London Euston to Manchester could save the same by booking online in advance for £27 rather than pay £169 for an Anytime ticket.

Well I will probably walk to my parents from
mine. Walkable but painful being around 45 minutes.

Saves me going to the gym and at least I get some exercise. 😄

Trains? What are those? Funny

Oh, I remember they're like buses on tracks, I just haven't been on one in so long (due to lack of railways round here) that I forget they exist...Crazy

Yeah no public transport in London on Christmas Day. I don’t know where my dad heard it from, think from radio “With a F and O and a O T O” Footo - the wonderful walking apparatus. Got to laugh 😛
