Do we need to ban the 'f' word?

In this case the 'f' pertaining to 'fat'.

A minister has called for an end to so-called 'fat talk', including terms such as muffin tops, bingo wings and cankles.
Scottish MP Jo Swinson believes the 'body shaming' language damages people's confidence and wants women and children to ban the terms from everyday conversation.

Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence last week called for the word fat to be 'illegal to use' on television, and American model Tyra Banks has launched a campaign with the Special K cereal brand to discourage women from using fat talk.

Where do they get these ideas?

Yet more evidence that the Daily Fail seriously need to a grip and shut the heck up.
I get that some people are offended by the word "Fat", but banning it won't stop it being used, on the contrary, if you ban something, people do it all the more, like using mobiles while driving for instance.

It's where the calf meets the foot with the appearance that there is no ankle.

Is there a difference between discriminating against a fat person, and discriminating against a coloured person?

I'm 6'4" and a bit and less than 11 stone.
I like being called slender, slim or svelte but hate being called skinny, beanpole, streaky or one of many others as I have been over the years but I'd never think of having them banned. Just words...  more important things to fuss over Roll eyes
