Do Not Track

AVG recently offered an add-on; Do Not Track, which at face value seems a good idea? In the settings there is an option to "block all", I was surprised slightly that this wasn't the default setting. Why? should you want to allow some tracking and not others.
Do Not Track is currently telling me it has blocked Google-Analytics, but not before I selected "block-all" Should I unblock it? if so why.
Experience; is something you gain, just after you needed it most.

When faced with two choices, simply toss a coin. It works not because it settles the question for you. But because in that brief moment while the coin is in the air. You suddenly know what you are hoping for.

Re: Do Not Track

It's case of whether all features on a specific website still work when you block these things, I'm guessing this may be cookie content related. Blocking permanent and/or session cookies will affect some websites'  functions.
