Open Photoshop - wait 30 secs for it to respond (Vista and CS2 don't like each other)

Hmm, Vista and CS2 play very nicely here, but aside from that - if you use Vista, why install another program to do something Vista does already?
Look for the Snipping Tool in accessories. Does the same as your program by the sound of it.
(I appreciate that its off at a tangent slightly, and of no use to those still languishing in the luxury of proper operating systems.)
The main reason for my question was that the positioning of your post under mine seemed to be implying that you could do something a shorter way than the way I suggested. (Whilst, now, I realise your reply was to Jameseh's suggestion of using paint.)
Its late in the day, you'll have to forgive my confusion.

Re: December Desktops

Now if we had threaded mode  Crazy that wouldn't happen
The reason I don't have the snipping tool is that I uninstalled it - why you ask
My post in another forum gives the reason

Possible Dx10 fix in Warhead
Running Warhead on Vista 64bit Dx10 in enthusiast on 8800GT at 1680 x 1050 isn't too bad except for the hovercraft sequence where it is impossible.
Saw this tip on the Far Cry 2 section

Just in case, here is how to turn that off:
1. Go to Control Panel
2. Uninstall a Program
3. On the left-hand side, Turn Windows features on or off
4. Uncheck Tablet PC Optional Components
This may sound odd but I did that and tried Crysis Warhead Dx10 all on enthusiast and the hovercraft sequence ran smoothly. Previously I needed to drop to Dx9 or go to the Gamer settings to keep a sensible frame rate
Now why removing Tablet PC Optional Components fixed it I have no idea but removing it took out the snipping tool as well.

Re: December Desktops

Mine is very boring - I don't generally like using photos on my desktop because I find them too distracting; when I have a lot of small icons on there it can make the names a little less clear and harder to scan through quickly.

Thats why I use the Kronenbourg picture I took - its pretty, but its also unobtrusive.
Looking at the light trails can also be inspirational at times, and if not, the thought of a pint gets me through the day!

Perhaps this year they might get a pair of socks and shoes to share? Cheesy
Its a lovely picture, and you can see why you have it as your desktop, something tells me that they don't always look that clean and tidy? Kids eh; Who'd have 'em?

Here are mine, not very festive though!

That's bonkers - Santiago, I have the same as your desktop 1 on my laptop (out of interest, was it a google image search for New York Skyline Night or similar? That's how I found it... very nice photo).
I'd add a screenshot but the laptop is at home and I'm at work... again, maybe later on.
